The 1” OMEGA Mag Pin is Vendetta Strength & Athletics’ patent-pending magnetic hitch pin, built as a replacement for standard rack pins on lever arms and most squat rack attachments. A solid stainless steel shaft with a rounded tip resists rust and dulling, while the knurled, finger-grooved head hides its magnet entirely inside the housing – there’s no exposed metal-to-metal contact, and a plastic liner protects the magnet from rack contact. The current V2 head design tunes magnet strength down slightly from the original V1 (which reviewers found a touch too strong) while keeping the pin securely seated, and the grooved end cap is built for comfortable one-handed removal.

Sold in pairs at 5.5” total length (5.0” usable shaft), it’s designed specifically to pair with Vendetta’s own 180° Lever Arm Adapters but works on standard squat rack pin holes as well. It’s a premium pick among mag pins – reviewers and owners consistently rate it among the best available – but it also runs frequently out of stock and on backorder.

The OMEGA Mag Pin earns near-universal praise from the reviewers who own it: a stainless steel shaft, a fully concealed magnet, and a knurled, finger-grooved head combine for a pin that’s easy to seat and pull one-handed. Functionality is the standout — reviewers specifically call out magnet strength tuned for security without being hard to remove, a fix the maker made between its V1 and V2 head design. Value is the weakest dimension: at $69.99 for a pair it costs more than budget alternatives, and it’s “almost always out of stock” on backorder, which limits how easily buyers can actually get a pair.

  • +Functionality: fully concealed magnet holds securely without excess metal-to-metal contact, and the grooved head makes one-handed removal easy (GymRadar reviews, Gray Matter Lifting)
  • +Build quality: solid stainless steel shaft with a rounded tip and a plastic liner protecting the magnet from rack contact (Gray Matter Lifting, manufacturer)
  • +Build quality: magnet strength was refined between V1 and V2 to be strong enough to hold but not overly aggressive (GymRadar review, RogueCrusher)
  • +Versatility: at 5.5" total length, longer than most mag pins, useful for lever arm and jammer arm setups (Gray Matter Lifting, r/homegym)
  • +Durability: rounded stainless tip won't rust or dull with use (manufacturer)
  • Value: priced higher than budget mag pin alternatives (Gray Matter Lifting)
  • Value: frequently out of stock on extended backorder, limiting availability (Gray Matter Lifting, r/homegym)
  • Versatility: limited color customization options compared to competitors (Gray Matter Lifting)
  • Durability: no long-term wear data beyond the maker's own V1-to-V2 design iteration (GymRadar review)
