Buy NowAbMat’s Sled Spacers are foam discs made to solve one small but real annoyance: plates that slam together and stick on a sled or loading pin, leaving you prying them apart with pinched fingers when the workout’s done. Slide a spacer on between each plate and it leaves just enough of a gap to lift plates straight off, while also cushioning the impact when a new plate drops on — protecting both the plates (especially metal ones prone to chipping) and the pin itself from repeated blunt contact. They’re made in the USA from polyurethane foam, sized to a standard 2” loading pin, and sold in 3-pack or 15-pack sets. Beyond weight sleds, they work on any top-loading equipment with a vertical pin — strongman yoke posts, vertical-stack grip trainers, and other plate-loaded machines.

This is the catch-all for the conditioning tools and accessories that don’t fit a single equipment class — weighted vests and plate carriers, medicine and slam balls, plyo boxes, ab mats, and the odds and ends that round out a garage gym. Items land here because their job (loaded carries, jumps, core work) cuts across the categories rather than sitting neatly inside one.
Anyone filling in the gaps around the big pieces. If you already have a rack, bar, and plates, this is where you find the vest for rucking and weighted push-ups, the ball for slams and wall throws, or the box for step-ups and box jumps. Match the tool to the training you actually do — a plate carrier for conditioning and rucking, plyo boxes for explosive work — rather than buying the whole shelf.

A simple, well-liked accessory that does exactly one job: the polyurethane foam discs slide onto a sled’s loading pin between plates, leaving a finger-sized gap so you’re not prying stuck plates apart after a workout. Functionality is the standout — every independent mention (a verified 5-star buyer review, an independent creator’s own equipment list) confirms it solves the pinched-fingers/slammed-plates problem it’s built for, and it doubles as a cushion that reduces plate chipping and clang. Durability is the weak spot simply for lack of data — no source has put these through long-term wear, so how the foam holds up after months of steel-on-foam impact is unverified.
