The Strength Shop Wedge is a compact rubber ramp that solves one specific deadlift annoyance: reloading the bar after the first set of plates is on. Roll the loaded bar up its ramp into a shaped groove and it lifts just enough off the floor to slide the next plate on (or strip one off) without lifting the whole bar again. It’s small enough to live in a gym bag — a genuine alternative to a bulkier deadlift jack when space or portability matters, and one of the few loading aids that works under a trap bar, where a two-sided deadlift jack can’t get underneath.
