Iron mind Expand Your Hand Bands

IronMind’s Expand-Your-Hand Bands are a simple extensor-training tool: a set of ten latex-free rubber bands, two each across five color-coded resistance levels (white, green, yellow, blue, red), that slip over the fingertips and train the hand and forearm extensors – the muscles that open the hand, as opposed to the flexors worked by gripping and most lifting. IronMind has sold the bands since 2004 as a companion to its grip-strength tools (Captains of Crush grippers and similar), aimed at building “muscle balance” between grip and release strength and helping prevent or reduce pain from tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, tendinitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. The latex-free, UV- and ozone-resistant rubber is built to outlast generic rubber bands, and users can double up bands to increase resistance beyond the five stock levels. They’re small and portable enough to keep a set at home, in a bag, or at a desk for quick warmup, prehab, or rehab work between other training.
