Mikolo T-Bar Linear Row Machine S7

The Mikolo T-Bar Linear Row Machine S7 is a chest-supported, plate-loaded back row machine that guides the handle along a dual linear rail instead of a pivoting arm. Mikolo says the fixed rail path keeps tension on the back consistent through the rep and cuts down on the torso sway and lower-back compensation common on free-standing T-bar rows. It has 24.2” of rail travel, loads standard 2” Olympic plates on a 12.4” sleeve, and offers a 5-position chest pad (1.3” increments) plus four handle grip positions (wide, neutral, close, reverse). At 30.1” x 56.1” and about 95 lbs, it’s sized for a home-gym footprint, and Mikolo backs the frame with a lifetime warranty. The manufacturer’s own stated max training weight is 220 lbs – Mikolo also sells a larger, seated SR06 T-bar row with a much higher capacity, so don’t confuse that model’s specs with the S7’s.

The S7 is purchasable now at a pre-order discount, but shipping lags: Mikolo’s page lists an estimated ship date of late August 2026. We found a few YouTube videos that appear to be S7-specific first-impressions/unboxing content by title, but couldn’t confirm their actual verdicts, and no verified independent review or forum discussion of the S7 (as opposed to its SR06 sibling) turned up in research – we’ll revisit once real owner feedback exists.

What is a Rower?

What a rower is

A rowing machine (erg) is a low-impact, full-body cardio piece — legs, back, and arms drive each stroke — making it a favorite for conditioning and steady-state work that spares the joints. Resistance comes from air (a fan; harder the faster you pull, the CrossFit/Concept2 standard), magnetic (quiet, fixed levels), or water (a smooth, swishing feel).

What to look for

A trustworthy performance monitor (pace, watts, distance) is what makes training measurable — the Concept2 PM5 is the benchmark. Also weigh footprint and storage (many rowers stand or separate for storage) and build quality, since the seat, rail, and handle take daily abuse.
