Rogue’s Rubber Tile 24”x24”x1.5” is a heavy-duty interlocking rubber tile built for high-impact drop zones – deadlift platforms, atlas stone landing pads, and raising the height of box squats or plyo jumps – rather than general-purpose gym flooring. Each 28 lb tile is made from 100% recycled SBR rubber backing topped with a recycled SBR/EPDM wear layer, at a firm Shore A 65-70 durometer that supports racks and squat stands without compressing while still absorbing dropped barbells without excessive bounce. The waffled underside resists sliding, and independent testing found the tiles hold their stated thickness within 0.5mm across the whole tile with no high or low spots. Tiles are sold in pairs or multi-packs (6, 8, 12, or 16) in a choice of smooth or crumb finish, and interlock to build custom platform sizes – 8 tiles make a 4’x8’ platform, 16 tiles an 8’x8’ platform. The tradeoffs are a premium price relative to thinner general-purpose tiles or horse stall mats, a visible seam every 24” that some lifters notice underfoot or under the bar, and interlocking edges that wear faster than the tile face after years of repeated equipment moves.
