Ghost Strong
Ghost Roller J-Cup
A portable pulley attachment that turns an existing power rack or pull-up bar into a cable station for lat pulldowns, tricep pushdowns, rows, face pulls, curls, and core work – Spud Inc.’s longtime budget answer to a commercial cable crossover. The 2022 “Super” update swapped the original bushing-based pulley for a bearing-based nylon pulley in a reinforced metal housing, paired with a nylon-coated 75” cable rated to 550 lbs. Reviewers consistently call it one of the best value buys in a home gym – one gave it 9/10 after months of daily use – but the durability picture is mixed: several owners report the nylon pulley wheel jamming or fraying the cable over time, and periodic graphite lubrication is a common (unofficial) maintenance step. The load also swings under moderate-to- heavy weight unless anchored, and a straight vertical lat pulldown isn’t achievable at most rack heights – angled pulls work better.

Rack attachments bolt or pin onto a power rack or squat stand to expand what it can do — J-cups and safety arms/straps (the essentials), plus dip bars, a landmine, a lat pulldown, weight-plate storage, roller J-cups, and more. They turn a rack into a whole gym.
An attachment must match your rack’s upright size (2x2, 2x3, or 3x3) and hole pattern/hardware (e.g. 5/8-in vs 1-in holes, Westside spacing). Attachments are usually series-specific — a Monster Lite J-cup won’t fit an Echo upright — so confirm the fit before buying.

The Super Econo Pulley Systems turn any rack into an affordable cable station, and versatility is the standout dimension – owners rig lat pulldowns, tricep pushdowns, rows, face pulls, curls, and core work off the same two pulleys. Functionality holds up well for angled pulls, though a straight vertical lat pulldown is awkward at typical rack heights and the load swings unless anchored. Durability is the weak spot: multiple independent reviewers report the nylon pulley wheel jamming or fraying the cable with extended use. At roughly $130 per system, it remains excellent value next to a commercial cable crossover.
