XL Band Pegs

Sorinex’s XL Band Pegs are a simple, modular attachment point for looping resistance bands onto a power rack or rig, made from 11-gauge American steel and sold as a pair. A “4-way hole design” lets them mount to the front, rear, inside, or outside of the rack, so they double as anchors for band-resisted squats, deadlifts, and bench work, pull-up/hang points, or simple gear storage — and letting more than one athlete train at a station at once.

Owners report they’re compatible beyond Sorinex’s own hardware — one uses them on a Rogue rack’s trolley arms for jammer-arm band training — thanks to their 1-1/16” hole compatibility, a size shared across most standard rack hole patterns. The peg shape is designed to keep a slack band from slipping off between reps, but the pegs ship without any washers, so owners protecting a powder-coated or painted rack finish should plan to source their own.

What is a Rack Attachment?

What rack attachments are

Rack attachments bolt or pin onto a power rack or squat stand to expand what it can do — J-cups and safety arms/straps (the essentials), plus dip bars, a landmine, a lat pulldown, weight-plate storage, roller J-cups, and more. They turn a rack into a whole gym.

Compatibility comes first

An attachment must match your rack’s upright size (2x2, 2x3, or 3x3) and hole pattern/hardware (e.g. 5/8-in vs 1-in holes, Westside spacing). Attachments are usually series-specific — a Monster Lite J-cup won’t fit an Echo upright — so confirm the fit before buying.

Sorinex’s XL Band Pegs are a no-frills modular attachment point — 11-gauge steel pegs that mount to the front, rear, inside, or outside of a rack via a “4-way hole design” for band resistance work, pull-ups, hangs, or storage. Its standout dimension is versatility: one GymRadar owner runs them on a Rogue rack’s trolley arms for jammer-arm band work, confirming they’re not locked to Sorinex hardware, and its peg geometry is designed so a slack band can’t slip off between reps. Its weakest dimension is durability, where GymRadar’s sample is thin (3 reviews) with no reports of long-term wear either way, and two of three owners frame them explicitly as “basic” and “no thrills” rather than praising build quality outright. Value holds up at $49 for a pair, though buyers should budget for their own protective washers — the pegs don’t ship with any, and one owner needed them to protect his rack’s finish.

  • +Functionality: peg geometry is designed so a slack band can't slip off between reps, unlike some simpler peg styles (GymRadar reviewer RogueCrusher)
  • +Versatility: confirmed cross-compatible beyond Sorinex racks — one owner runs them on Rogue Trolley arms for jammer-arm band work alongside Sorinex foot blocks (GymRadar reviewer RogueCrusher)
  • +Build quality: 11-gauge American steel, described by owners as "good quality" and doing what they're meant to (GymRadar reviewers Brandon Tunquist, ATP Gym)
  • +Value: $49 for a pair, with no price complaints from any of the three owner reviews (GymRadar reviewer ATP Gym)
  • Durability: little independent long-term data — GymRadar's sample is only 3 reviews, none reporting wear either way (GymRadar)
  • Value: ships without protective washers; one owner had to source his own acetyl washers to keep the pegs from marring his rack's finish (GymRadar reviewer RogueCrusher)
  • Functionality: two of three owners explicitly describe them as "basic"/"no thrills," with "nothing special or extra" beyond doing the job (GymRadar reviewers Brandon Tunquist, ATP Gym)
