E-Series Prowler

The E-Series Prowler is EliteFTS’s budget, break-down version of its original conditioning sled – built to make the classic Prowler cheaper and easier to ship rather than to change the training the Prowler is known for. At 65 lb and 43”x36”, it comes apart so it fits in a trunk or truck bed, with removable upright pipes for push or drag work. It works on grass, concrete, pavement, or artificial turf, though EliteFTS notes the stock UHMW skis are only warrantied for use on rubber flooring – dragging it across concrete or pavement voids ski coverage. Olympic plates are not included, so the sled’s own price understates the total cost of getting it loaded. Independent coverage of this specific SKU is thin: outside a small 3-review GymRadar sample, no expert write-up or video review was found that puts the E-Series apart from EliteFTS’s other Prowler variants (Prowler 2, Prowler Quad, Prowler Junior).

The E-Series Prowler is EliteFTS’s budget, break-down version of its original conditioning sled — same core Prowler formula in a lighter, cheaper, easier-to-ship package. Functionality is the standout: a bare-bones push/drag sled that works on grass, turf, concrete, or pavement and needs nothing but plates to load. Independent coverage is the weakest dimension — outside a small GymRadar sample (4.9 from 3 reviewers) there’s no expert write-up or video review that actually tests this specific SKU, so claims about long-term build quality and durability rest mostly on the Prowler name’s reputation rather than scrutiny of this model.

  • +Functionality: breaks down to fit in a trunk or truck bed, unlike a one-piece Prowler (EliteFTS)
  • +Versatility: usable on grass, concrete, pavement, or artificial turf (EliteFTS)
  • +Value: at 65 lb and a sub-$450 list price, it's the accessible entry point into EliteFTS's Prowler line (EliteFTS)
  • +Functionality: removable upright pipes and dual push/pull posts support both linemen-style pushes and harness drags (EliteFTS)
  • Durability: manufacturer warns the stock UHMW skis are only rated for rubber flooring, not concrete or pavement despite the sled being marketed for outdoor use (EliteFTS)
  • Build quality: no independent teardown or long-term durability write-up was found for this specific SKU, only manufacturer copy (Garage Gym Reviews)
  • Versatility: no Olympic plates included, so total cost is higher than the sled's own price once you're loading it (EliteFTS)
  • Value: review coverage is thin — a 3-review GymRadar sample is not enough to confirm the price-to-quality claim independently
