Bells of Steel’s Magnetic Clamp Collars are a slim, lever-clamp barbell collar built around two-sided magnets so the pair can stick to any painted metal rack surface — uprights, crossmembers, or feet — for tidy between-set storage instead of getting left on the floor or hung on a hook. A rubberized interior grips the sleeve firmly without scratching the bar’s finish, and at roughly 1” wide the collar is about half the width of a traditional twist-lever clamp, leaving more sleeve free for loading plates.

Independent testing backs up the core claims: one reviewer confirmed the magnets hold reliably on Rep and Titan rack finishes and that the clamp doesn’t slip even loaded and flipped upside down, fitting everything from standard Olympic bars to an axle bar and a safety squat bar. The same review’s biggest knock, echoed independently on r/homegym for the identical OEM design sold under other brand names, is a genuinely tight out-of-the-box fit — expect a week or so of repeated on/off use before it loosens enough for one-handed operation. It’s not compatible with narrower 1.89” specialty sleeves (e.g. Bells of Steel’s own Arch Nemesis Bar or Lever Arms), which need a standard 1.98” Olympic sleeve.
