Monster Lite Pritchett Pad

The Rogue Monster Lite Pritchett Pad is a rack-mounted chest-support attachment designed in collaboration with Strongman competitor Jerry Pritchett, built to let lifters do heavy chest-supported (T-bar-style) rows without the footprint of a standalone machine. It slides onto an existing Monster Lite 3x3” upright and locks in place with an included detent pin – no tools or hardware required – and ships fully assembled. The arm is 3x3” 11-gauge steel reinforced with two gussets, with UHMW plastic in the mounting channel to prevent metal-to-metal contact with the rack. Once locked in, the tapered, offset 2.25”-thick pad extends 33” out from the upright, positioning the lifter so a rack-mounted landmine attachment (sold separately) lines up directly with the bar. It also works with a post landmine or for dumbbell and barbell rows. For owners of a standard Monster Series rack, Rogue sells a separate Monster Pritchett Pad sized for 1” hardware.

What is a Rack Attachment?

What rack attachments are

Rack attachments bolt or pin onto a power rack or squat stand to expand what it can do — J-cups and safety arms/straps (the essentials), plus dip bars, a landmine, a lat pulldown, weight-plate storage, roller J-cups, and more. They turn a rack into a whole gym.

Compatibility comes first

An attachment must match your rack’s upright size (2x2, 2x3, or 3x3) and hole pattern/hardware (e.g. 5/8-in vs 1-in holes, Westside spacing). Attachments are usually series-specific — a Monster Lite J-cup won’t fit an Echo upright — so confirm the fit before buying.

The Monster Lite Pritchett Pad is a purpose-built chest-supported row attachment that nails its one job: Garage Gym Reviews calls it “probably the goat” for landmine rows, and GymRadar owners give its 3x3” 11-gauge steel build a perfect 5.00/5, describing it as “built like a tank.” Functionality and build quality are the standout dimensions – the offset pad keeps the barbell centered and clear of the rack, and it locks onto the upright tool-free in under a minute. Value is the weakest dimension by a wide margin (GymRadar’s Value sub-score sits at just 2.71/5): at $300 it’s a single-purpose “unitasker,” and nearly every independent review – GymRadar, Garage Gym Reviews, and the manufacturer’s own on-site reviews alike – raises the same complaint that its heavy, rounded shape makes it awkward to store when it’s off the rack. Buyers who specifically want heavy chest-supported landmine rows and have a spot to stash it are consistently happy; those who want more adjustability or pressing versatility are steered by reviewers toward the Bulldog Pad instead.

  • +Functionality: Exceptional for chest-supported and landmine rows -- "probably the goat" for the movement (Garage Gym Reviews)
  • +Build quality: 3x3" 11-gauge steel arm with UHMW plastic protecting the rack; GymRadar's Build Quality sub-score is a perfect 5.00/5, called "built like a tank" (GymRadar)
  • +Functionality: Tool-less, hardware-free install -- slides onto the upright and locks with a detent pin, ships fully assembled (Fit at Midlife, GymRadar)
  • +Functionality: Offset pad design keeps the barbell centered and clear of the rack during landmine rows (Rogue Fitness, GymRadar)
  • +Value: Owners note it replaces the cost and floor space of a standalone T-bar row machine (GymRadar)
  • Value: Lowest-scoring dimension on GymRadar (2.71/5) -- a pricey $300 "unitasker" for one movement pattern (Garage Gym Reviews, GymRadar)
  • Functionality: Heavy (36.5 lbs) and awkward to store due to its rounded, offset shape -- the single most repeated complaint across nearly every source (GymRadar, Garage Gym Reviews, Rogue on-site reviews)
  • Versatility: Limited almost entirely to chest-supported rowing movements; not designed for presses and offers little pad-angle adjustability (Garage Gym Reviews)
  • Versatility: The Monster Lite version lacks the built-in carry handle of the standard Monster version, making it more awkward to move on and off the rack (YouTube: Garage Gym Reviews)
  • Durability: Long-term data is thin -- one buyer reported an out-of-the-box wobbly fit against the upright, resolved only after contacting Rogue for a free calibration kit (YouTube)
