Ghost Strong
Ghost Roller J-Cup
The Rogue Monster Shrimp Trawler is a cantilevered rack attachment designed to add wingspan and versatility to an existing Monster Series rig without increasing its footprint or giving up a pull-up bar spot. Made in the USA from 3x3” 11-gauge steel with a Medium Gloss Black powdercoat finish, it bolts directly to a Monster upright using the included mounting hardware and extends just under 43” out from the rack, ending in a 15” mounting plate with 1” holes spaced 6” on center for further attachments. It’s most commonly used to hang a heavy bag off the side of a rack or to create an additional gymnastics-rings station, though the Rogue Monster Shackle is sold separately and required to actually mount rings or a bag. It’s compatible exclusively with 3x3” Monster Series uprights (1” hardware) – Rogue sells a separate 2x3” version for Infinity and Monster Lite rigs, and this one is explicitly not usable on Echo, Infinity, or Monster Lite units. Reviewers rate build quality highly and call the install straightforward, but flag that usable bag/ring height depends heavily on the host rack’s upright height – shorter racks can leave a heavy bag uncomfortably high for taller lifters.

Rack attachments bolt or pin onto a power rack or squat stand to expand what it can do — J-cups and safety arms/straps (the essentials), plus dip bars, a landmine, a lat pulldown, weight-plate storage, roller J-cups, and more. They turn a rack into a whole gym.
An attachment must match your rack’s upright size (2x2, 2x3, or 3x3) and hole pattern/hardware (e.g. 5/8-in vs 1-in holes, Westside spacing). Attachments are usually series-specific — a Monster Lite J-cup won’t fit an Echo upright — so confirm the fit before buying.

| Youtube | 3.7/5 | 1 reviews | 1 video considered with a usable, on-SKU verdict (The Bar Gym Reviews, 'Forgotten Rogue Rack Attachment?', a deep-dive on the Monster 3x3" version specifically). Mixed-positive: build quality and install praised as effortless and 'typical overbuilt Rogue,' versatility for heavy-bag and ring work is real, but the reviewer stresses it's 'not a necessary purchase,' that bag/ring height depends entirely on your rack's upright height (he found it too low for comfortable use as a 5'4" lifter on a 90" rack, recommends 100"+), and that the Rogue Monster Shackle needed to actually hang anything is a mandatory separate purchase not included in the $175 price. |
The Monster Shrimp Trawler is a simple, single-purpose rack attachment – a cantilevered 3x3” steel arm that bolts to a Monster Series upright to add a ring station or a stable heavy-bag mount without widening the rack’s footprint. Build quality is the standout: independent reviewers and Rogue’s own buyers consistently describe it as overbuilt and finished to the same standard as the Monster rack it bolts to, with an easy solo install. Versatility is real but conditional – the arm itself is just a mounting point, and getting full use out of it (rings, a heavy bag) means also buying the separate Rogue Monster Shackle, which is not included. The weakest dimension is functionality-for-tall-users: reviewers flag that bag or ring height is entirely dependent on your rack’s upright height, and shorter racks (under ~100”) can leave a heavy bag sitting uncomfortably high for taller lifters.
