Monster Strip

The Monster Strip is Rogue’s wall-mounted storage channel for Monster Series rack attachments – a way to move accessories like the Monster Matador, chain hanger, plate storage channel, rope anchor, and vertical bar holder off a crowded rack and onto an open wall. It’s built from the same 3” x 3” 11-gauge steel tubing as Rogue’s Monster rack uprights, with an MG Black powdercoat finish, a 1” detent pin, and oversized mounting holes spaced to match standard rack hole patterns. It ships in a standard 36” length (13 lb) or a shorter 16” Half-Strip (6.75 lb), and can be mounted horizontally or vertically, with multiple Strips installable in series for a custom storage wall. Mounting requires wood stud construction – Rogue does not recommend it for drywall or metal studs – using 3/8” x 2-1/2” lag screws (four for the standard length, two for the Half-Strip).

Owner feedback is strongly positive and centers on how sturdy the piece feels once mounted: GymRadar’s aggregate rating sits at 4.83/5 across 10 reviews, and both gathered YouTube clips and several r/homegym threads describe it as “rock solid” with no flex, cracking, or bending, even under a mounted attachment like a lever arm. Beyond its stated storage role, homegym owners on Reddit frequently repurpose the tubing as a base for DIY builds – lever arms, leg-extension rigs – a sign of how structurally trusted the piece is. The one recurring complaint is cosmetic rather than functional: a customer-service dispute over touch-up paint for scuffed powdercoat.
