With 2x3" 11 Gauge steel uprights, an adjustable fat/skinny pull-up bar, and a wide range of compatible accessories, the Rogue S-2 Squat Stand is more power rack than squat rack. Built in the USA, the S-2 includes key innovations from the Rogue Infinity Series Squat Stands, including Westside hole spacing, 5/8" bolts and fasteners, and J-cups with protective UHMW plastic liners. We’ve also redesigned the base using the same bolted triangle plates used in the Monster Lite squat stands (rather than the original formed socket) to improve the overall stability of the unit.

What a squat stand is

A squat stand is a two-post, free-standing rack for squats and presses — most of a power rack’s capability in a smaller, cheaper, movable package. Uprights are joined by a pull-up crossmember for stability. Monster Lite (3x3) stands are the premium tier; 2x3 stands cost less and still handle most home training. Note that a squat stand’s safeties are shorter than a full cage’s, so many lifters pair one with spotter arms for heavy solo work.
