The X-Series Flat Bench has evolved over the last decade into our 5th edition. Manufactured in Ontario, Canada with premium components and the most current fabrication technologies. A flat bench is a fixed, horizontal bench for pressing, rows, hip thrusts, and dumbbell work. Because nothing pivots, a good flat bench is rock-solid and low — often more stable and cheaper than an adjustable, which is why many lifters own both. Competition flat benches match the 17-in IPF pad height for powerlifting.

What to look for

A wide, firm pad (11–12 in) that supports your shoulders without being so wide it limits arm drive, a stable wide or tripod base, a high weight capacity, and sturdy 11-gauge steel. Pad grippiness matters more than you’d think for heavy benching.
