Box Squat Pad with Head Sleeve - Soft

Buy Now · $205.00

The Box Squat Pad with Head Sleeve - Soft is elitefts’ cushioned variant of its box squat pad, built to sit atop an existing box squat box (sized to match elitefts’ own best-selling box) rather than as a standalone unit. Where the standard pad is firm, this version uses a 5”-thick foam core with substantially more give, letting lifters sink further into the box on descent – a design elitefts developed after repeated customer requests for a softer box-squat surface, having first tried (and rejected) a padded box frame as too expensive. A vinyl-and-plastic sleeve wraps the foam for moisture protection and easy wipe-down, addressing the hygiene concerns of a bare foam pad. It ships in royal blue and is sold only direct from elitefts.

What is a Miscellaneou?

What’s in Miscellaneous

This is the catch-all for the conditioning tools and accessories that don’t fit a single equipment class — weighted vests and plate carriers, medicine and slam balls, plyo boxes, ab mats, and the odds and ends that round out a garage gym. Items land here because their job (loaded carries, jumps, core work) cuts across the categories rather than sitting neatly inside one.

Who it’s for

Anyone filling in the gaps around the big pieces. If you already have a rack, bar, and plates, this is where you find the vest for rucking and weighted push-ups, the ball for slams and wall throws, or the box for step-ups and box jumps. Match the tool to the training you actually do — a plate carrier for conditioning and rucking, plyo boxes for explosive work — rather than buying the whole shelf.

The Soft is elitefts’ cushioned upgrade to its standard box squat pad: a 5” foam core with noticeably more give, built so lifters can genuinely sink into the box instead of perching on a firm edge, wrapped in a vinyl and plastic sleeve for hygiene and easy wipe-down. Independent coverage of this exact SKU is essentially nonexistent – the reviews and video findable for elitefts’ box squat gear cover the firm original pad or bare demo footage, not this soft variant – so most of what’s here traces back to elitefts’ own product copy, with GymRadar’s small (n=3) rating as the lone outside data point. Functionality (the added sink/give) and build quality (dense foam, protective sleeve) are the strongest claims on paper; durability and value are unverified since no reviewer has logged real time on it.

  • +Functionality: foam core has noticeably more "give" than elitefts' standard pad, letting lifters sink further into the box (elitefts product page)
  • +Build quality: 5" foam pad ships with an integrated plastic sleeve for moisture/hygiene protection and easy cleanup (elitefts product page)
  • +Versatility: sized to the footprint of elitefts' own box squat box (18"x18"), so it drops onto existing equipment rather than requiring a dedicated frame (elitefts product page)
  • Durability: no independent long-term wear reports exist for this SKU; elitefts built the plastic sleeve specifically to address bare-foam durability/hygiene concerns, but no reviewer has verified how it holds up over time (elitefts product page)
  • Value: at $205 for a pad, no independent review or community thread confirms whether the extra cushioning justifies the premium over elitefts' firmer, cheaper pad (elitefts product page)
  • Functionality: GymRadar's 4.0/5 aggregate is based on just 3 reviews, too small a sample to treat as confirmed consensus (GymRadar)
