Ghost Roller J-Cup
The AbMat Split Squat Pad Pro is a hexagonal, high-density foam roller that converts any squat rack into a single-leg squat station without a dedicated leg-roller attachment. Co-developed by Dr. Kelly Starrett (The Ready State) and AbMat, it slides onto one end of a barbell racked at the desired height; the opposite end is loaded with a minimum 45 lb plate as a counterweight, and the pad’s 360-degree rotation lets the foot pivot smoothly through Bulgarian split squats and other single-leg work. The Pro variant upgrades the Standard pad’s open-cell foam and 6” diameter to an exclusive high-density, antimicrobial foam at 7” diameter, aimed at commercial or shared-gym use and frequent loading. Independent coverage is thin: Rogue’s two customer reviews are positive, and Garage Gym Reviews’ YouTube roundup is favorable on build quality but genuinely mixed on whether the hexagon shape beats a standard circular roller, and flags that the barbell can tip if the counterweight plate isn’t loaded correctly.

Rack attachments bolt or pin onto a power rack or squat stand to expand what it can do — J-cups and safety arms/straps (the essentials), plus dip bars, a landmine, a lat pulldown, weight-plate storage, roller J-cups, and more. They turn a rack into a whole gym.
An attachment must match your rack’s upright size (2x2, 2x3, or 3x3) and hole pattern/hardware (e.g. 5/8-in vs 1-in holes, Westside spacing). Attachments are usually series-specific — a Monster Lite J-cup won’t fit an Echo upright — so confirm the fit before buying.

The AbMat Split Squat Pad Pro turns a squat rack you already own into a single-leg squat station: slide the hexagonal, high-density foam roller over one end of a racked barbell, counterweight the other end with a 45 lb plate, and its 360-degree rotation lets you work Bulgarian split squats and other single-leg variations. Its standout dimension is functionality – the manufacturer, a retailer, and an independent YouTube roundup all agree it’s a genuine low-cost substitute for a dedicated leg-roller rack attachment on any rack that takes a standard Olympic barbell. Its weakest dimension is durability – every source in the knowledge base is a first-impression take (a YouTube roundup and two retailer reviews), and nobody has weighed in yet on how the high-density foam holds up after months of loaded use.
