Long Ab Strap
Bells of Steel’s Swivel Shackles are a small cable-machine accessory that clips between a cable end (or a cable attachment) and rotates a full 360°, so the attachment finds its own orientation instead of binding up against a plain carabiner. That rotation also absorbs the twist that single-sided cable work — crossovers, rows, tricep pushdowns — otherwise puts straight into the cable itself, which is the main reason cables need periodic replacement even on commercial-grade machines.
Each stainless/premium-grade shackle is rated for 450kg and uses a spring-loaded clasp with a wide opening that fits thicker grips and specialty bars, including attachments with small magnetic-grip holes. They’re sold in sets of 4 or 8 — buying the larger set lowers the per-unit cost since Bells of Steel ships the set together rather than pricing shipping into each pair the way some Amazon-only sellers do.

Cable attachments are the handles and bars that clip to a cable machine, functional trainer, or lat/row station to change the exercise — lat bars, triceps ropes, single-D handles, row/close-grip handles, ankle straps, and more. A small set of them turns one cable stack into dozens of movements.
A rotating swivel or ball-bearing joint keeps the cable from twisting and lets the handle track your arm; comfortable, durable grips (knurled metal, rubber, or coated nylon) survive heavy use; and a standard carabiner or snap fits most machines. Match the attachment to the exercises you actually train rather than buying a giant kit you won’t use.

Swivel Shackles are a small, cheap fix for a real cable-machine annoyance: the 360° rotation absorbs the twist that single-sided cable work (crossovers, rows, tricep pushdowns) puts into a cable, and it removes the fiddly re-orientation dance that some attachments do on a plain carabiner. Functionality is the clear standout — the mechanism does exactly one job and the demonstrated before/after (carabiner binds up, shackle self-orients) is unambiguous. Durability is the weakest-evidenced dimension: independent long-term wear data doesn’t exist yet for this specific accessory, so the 450kg capacity and “stainless steel” claim are taken on the manufacturer’s word.
