Long Ab Strap
The BFAS (Belt Fed Accessory Strap) is a handmade leather cable attachment from Belt Fed Strength, a small two-person shop in Tennessee, built as a premium alternative to plastic-and-rope tricep attachments. It’s made from top-grain American cowhide with edges bound in water-buffalo leather for a grippy finish, hand-cut and hand-stitched to order for each purchase. At 30 inches overall length with 7.5-inch hand loops, 1.5-inch width, and roughly 0.3-inch thickness, it works for face pulls, tricep pushdowns, overhead extensions, and curls on any standard cable machine. A shorter single-loop version is also offered for lifters who don’t need the full double-loop length.

Cable attachments are the handles and bars that clip to a cable machine, functional trainer, or lat/row station to change the exercise — lat bars, triceps ropes, single-D handles, row/close-grip handles, ankle straps, and more. A small set of them turns one cable stack into dozens of movements.
A rotating swivel or ball-bearing joint keeps the cable from twisting and lets the handle track your arm; comfortable, durable grips (knurled metal, rubber, or coated nylon) survive heavy use; and a standard carabiner or snap fits most machines. Match the attachment to the exercises you actually train rather than buying a giant kit you won’t use.

The Belt Fed Strength BFAS is a handmade leather cable attachment — top-grain American cowhide edged in water-buffalo leather — built as a premium alternative to the usual plastic-and-rope tricep attachment. Build quality is the standout dimension: it’s hand-cut and hand-stitched in small batches by a two-person Tennessee shop, and one YouTube reviewer (who worked with the maker to design it after being disappointed by a $40 Rogue rope attachment) called it “literally my favorite cable attachment.” Versatility is strong too — face pulls, tricep pushdowns, overhead extensions, and curls all get cited across sources. Durability holds up under real use: a second reviewer reported the strap looked “as good as the day I bought them” after roughly a year of regular use, with the leather breaking in for a better grip over time rather than degrading. Value is the softer dimension — starting at $70, it costs multiples of a nylon rope attachment, so it’s a buy for lifters who want a lasting, hand-finished piece rather than the cheapest option.
